Rocky M. De Francis

Principal / CRO

Rocky De Francis serves as the Chief Revenue Officer for Next Step Recovery. Rocky oversees business development, marketing, client outcomes, and companywide revenue growth. His passion in leadership is to develop strategic initiatives, optimize processes, and collaborate across the company to ensure industry leading processes.

Rocky originally founded Next Step Recovery Sober Livings in 2013 with just 12 beds. Under his leadership, the organization has grown to manage 95 beds with a staff of 28. Motivated by a desire to enhance the quality of transitional housing in the treatment community, Rocky started over allocating staffing in their locations to prevent burnout, improve efficacy and ensure staff can focus on their own recovery as well. His approach has produced unparallel structure, accountability, life skills training, and sobriety-based routines.

Outside of work, Rocky is lovingly dedicated to spending time with his beautiful wife, Rachel, and his dog River. He enjoys time on his boat and at his favorite retreat on Lake Mohave. Even outside of work, Rocky has based his life on always helping another alcoholic, he consistently attends AA meetings and has walked countless others through the 12 steps for over 19 years.
