Downtown HB House (Men): This is the primary house for clients early in their recovery, set up and staffed for greater supervision. Rules and structure of the house gives new clients early curfew, mandatory job search, transportation to mandatory meetings, and greater training in life skills. While at NS1, clients are encouraged to work with a sponsor, and get commitments in local meetings. Heavier consequences are given to clients that do not adhere to the structure of the house. We see relationships begin to form at this stage as we discourage isolation and encourage fellowship in the house.
